NOTE: this is not intended to open up the question of "to circ or
not to circ" which is definiely not appropriate here.  It is how
aspects of the procedure, in this case the timing, impacts or is
impacted by breastfeeding.
We have a couple of docs who are upset if their babies are fed
(breast or bottle) within a half hour of being circ'd.  The number
is steadily decreasing, fortunately.  I think they are realizing
that a happily fed baby is less upset by the whole process than a
hungry one.  What annoys me most is the ones that call and say,"
I'll be there in ten minutes so don't feed baby Jones and have him
ready for me to circ."  Then  the doc doesn't show up for a hour or
even more!  Heaven forbid that he (yes, the one in particular is
"he", it's not gender bias on my part) have even a minute of "down
time".
