But Regina, every woman who has/had a baby has something wrong with her.
Something that medical science needs to be there to "fix." She has to have
an ultrasound to determine the age and health of her unborn child. She may
have to have amniocentesis. She has to take vitamins because she isn't
capable of eating the right foods on her own. She has to be monitored by a
HCP monthly, then bi-monthly, then weekly -- sometimes daily -- until she
delivers, and if she doesn't go into labor on her own, she isn't normal --
and someone has to start a Pitocin drip. Or maybe she's too "old" to have a
baby normally. She has to have a glucose tolerance test to make sure she
doesn't have gestational diabetes. She has to not eat chocolate, drink
caffeine, alcohol, smoke, or take Tylenol, no matter how severe the pain.
She can't eat shell fish or a myriad other fish. She has to have her blood
pressure and pee monitored. And then she has to go to the hospital where
sick people go -- in order to just have a baby. And she has a fetal monitor
strapped on, and IV's started and drugs given, and is required to stay in bed
for the duration. And she'll have pitocin because her uterus isn't working
too well, and needs some stimulation. Her vaginal opening isn't large enough
(God's other mistake), so we have to do an episiotomy, and then that requires
sutures -- and pain medication. The baby has to have lots of *stuff* done to
it until it is deemed "normal." Then mom has to go to a room in a bed with
side rails pulled up because Lord knows she's so feeble she might fall out of
bed. And she can't sleep w/ her baby because, Lord knows, she might throw it
out of the bed, or roll over on it, or --- because she's so feeble. And she
needs antibiotics because she is + for beta strep, and stool softeners for
her non-functioning bowels....and if she needs a C/Section -- well, we won't
even go there.

And the breasts are supposed to work???? HAHAHAHA! Nothing has worked on
its own so far -- why now???
