Valerie Jacobson asks regarding my suggestions to the Ezzos-reading dad:

The Surgeon General's (U.S.) report is a very prestigious document and I
suggested it to counterract the "spacing out feedings" idea. Obtain from the
Maternal and Child Health Clearinghouse, phone 703-821-8955, ext. 254. They
have lots of good information.

I suggested "Breastfeeding, Biocultural Perspectives" to counterract the idea
that "breastfeeding is only for food." Available lots of places - La Leche
League, ICEA, Cascade/Birth & Life Bookstore, Lactation Associates. Great
book, IMHO!!

I don't know of any one source that debunks the Ezzos "theories."
