Valerie - we can't say anything at all about those stats unless we know the
size of the cohort. There might be more women in that age group anyway
compared with 5 years ago - the birth rate might have shot up (they were
all Baby Boomers, weren't they?) at that time, or maybe it's the result of
immigration in that age group.

Either way, a rise in numbers tells us nothing. Percentage  of the cohort
would be better, along with morbidity stats.
