Julie and all,

The debate about the vaccine goes on. My concern is the need for it to be
re-administered every 7 (?) years. You may remember at 8 or 15 or even 22
but will you remember at 29 to get another dose? And isn't it usually worse
to get chicken pox as an adult? And what about pregnant women? Will they be
at risk if they don't remember when they got it last or can it be given
again anyway while pregnant.

I was trying to decide if I would give my 5 yo and 2 yo the vaccine but they
made the decision for me by coming down with chicken pox. My 5 yo (breastfed
26 mos) got a VERY bad case and my 2 year old (still nursing) got a good case
of them but still felt great (ran all over the house anyway!). The 8 yo had
them years ago so it's all over and done with for us.
