Lady, All I can say is YOU ROCK! I LOVE your posts - I love your ability to
put things in a manner that makes sense and is non-judgmental and respectful
and accepting of differing opinions.

I enjoy reading what you write because, even tho I may not agree 100% or
(honestly) understand where you are coming from (as my own experiences do
not correlate any kind of way to relate to the circumstances you describe)
I, too, learn something. It may not make a lot of sense at the moment, but
gets my brain thinking.and that is what is important.

An important thing (I feel) is that we all accept and understand that we all
work and practice in different areas, different ways and with different
clientele. We are all working to support and educate mothers to the best of
our ability - that is our common theme. How we do it may be different from
one country to the next - even from one city to the next - but we all have
the same common goal in mind. If we remember that, then the discussions can
stay non-personal, and educating - rather than go into 'my way is better
than your way' (which, sadly, has happened).

I agree it is not appropriate to ask someone to not post their opinions - we
all have a right to them, you may not agree with me, I may not agree with
you, but who am I to ask (or tell) you to not share your opinions with
anyone. If you disagree with what I have to say, that is fine. I don't
have a problem with that. Opinions are like belly buttons - we all have
one! Just please don't tell me or ask me that I not say what I
believe.that shows (in my not so humble opinion) a lack of respect for me as
a human. I don't expect everyone to agree with me - I do ask that they show
me at least the modicum of respect due any human.

At any rate - Susan, on my part - KEEP WRITING! I learn from you, and from
others like you who have experiences I will never have, who have learned
things I will never learn first-hand. Like I aid - I may not agree or
understand, but it sure as heck gets me thinking!

Thank you!

Warmly,

Jaye Simpson, IBCLC, CIIM

country for the education Susan provides any time in this lifetime!
