I absolutely agree with the block granting process. And although I don't like
block grants per se and it will be a big change, and not the most ideal
situation, it also cuts the feds out of the loop a little bit more and gives
more local control. It is easier to influence government on a state by state
basis. It just means that all you out there in lactnet land need to be
political in your own backyard. Martha Brower and our feisty bunch here in
Ohio have been very vocal and we've made some pretty heavy headway.

I would like for someone to explain to me just what is so bad about making
this kind of change. Exactly what is absolutely going to happen? People are
assuming that it is for the worst, but folks, the other way ain't working!

Alison, The LC who likes to get the feds out of most everything just like our
forefathers and mothers set it up.
