I just came to post this question to everyone and read Kim's post on
relactation! I have a relactation question, too, but the circumstances are
quite different.

I just got a call this afternoon from a co-worker asking if I could help a
woman in her church. She is planning to adopt a baby from China who is now
one month old. She won't get the baby for four more months. She wants to
breastfeed the baby. This woman will be calling me in the morning to get some
information on induced lactation. My question to you all is: What are the
chances that this baby will latch on after 5 months of bottles? I would love
to encourage her and give her the information I have on induced lactation, but
it that realistic? Like Kim, I've never worked with a relactating mother
before and everything I have learned didactically about the process has been
with newborns.

I would appreciate anyone sharing their knowledge and experience with this.
Thanks in advance.
