There is no formulation for oral clotrimazole available in Canada
(probably not in the US either). Some physicians have used vaginal
antifungal ointments and creams in the baby's mouth to treat for
yeast.

The question is, why treat this way when other things are available?
How about gentian violet? But first, is it necessary to treat? Are
babies often bothered by thrush? Not in my experience--occasionally,
but not often. Is the mother sore? Then she and the baby need
treatment, but if the mother is not sore, why treat?
