Well, I finally am coming out!  I've been lurking for a long time but this
time I had to respond...I am a former American living in Israel for 30 years
 founded La Leche in Israel, am no longer an IBCLC as I did not re-take the
exam for many personal reasons, but am still working as always with BF moms
and Lactnet is an important part of my daily schedule.  Thanks to you all...


Now to the tattoo...I am 55 (!) and finally did my tattoo about 2 years ago
and I get exactly the same feedback from it as Jaye (note the similarity in
our names as well!).

I've become the really cool grandma (7, with 2 new ones on the way-including
home births in my house) whose advise on breastfeeding and everything else
having to do with babies and children is very gladly excepted by the "young
ones"...I've even made some permanent friendships with some of them and it
is really fun!

It is something I never thought of when I did the tattoo (mine is on my
RIGHT shoulder) but certainly a great fringe benefit!.
