Hi all,

What are the implications for a 3 week old baby whose mum was taking
10-12  tylenol with codeine/day for about a month prior to the baby's
birth and in the weeks since the baby's birth? Mum is now detoxing on
her own and really wants to continue breastfeeding (and I think it is
one of the things that keeps her going). Since she is detoxing, the
levels of codeine would be going down, wouldn't they, or is the baby at
risk for any products of the detoxing process?
