Did anyone say that perhaps if mom is on WIC, that the nutritionist or
LC would contact the school? I live in the south and not in a real BF
friendly area but all the high schools have been very good about
"letting" high school mothers pump in the nurses office. My clients use
the nurses refrigerator to store the milk. Some are very good and let
mom pump every 3 hours on her own schedule and some say just at lunch
time. But I have not had any say no and I work with many school
districts. I have even called schools for my WIC clients and once had a
school social worker call me to ask about a student wanting to pump and
would WIC give her a pump (that mom decided to use formula).
