Just wanted to introduce myself to the list. My name is Dru and I am a student
in the After Degree BScN program at the University of Alberta. After many
years of postsecondary study, one BA, one MA, and half of a PhD I finally
decided to follow my heart and begin training for an eventual career as a
clinician-scientist in the field of nurse-midwifery. I am mom to a six year
old (breastfed 3 1/2 years) and a 22 month old (still enjoying mama's milk)
and am involved in Edmonton's breastfeeding community. I have heard a lot of
great things about LACTNET and I am looking forward to receiving postings from
the group members!
