Wow!  You guys came through for me again!  Thank you so much to Helen, Kathy
D and Dr Jack for the very full information on praziquantel and
breastfeeding including the possibility of delaying treatment even if the
mother is passing blood in the urine.  I found this immensely reassuring for
myself too, as my eldest son was diagnosed with Bilharzia at the age of 10 -
I remember how worrying it was seeing the blood!  I had already explained
carefully to the mom that there are risks attached to withholding
breastfeeding for four days, and promised that I would try and obtain some
expert overseas opinion for her.  She will be calling me tomorrow.  Many
thanks for such prompt and reassuring replies.  You're great!
