Hi all,

Since I'm the one who posted about being able to buy Domperidone without an
RX in New Zealand let me add my thoughts.

First - this patient came to me with drug in hand, having done all the
research herself. I was so proud of her for taking such bold steps to
ensure the success of nursing her second baby, which she has done. (Large
reduction done prior to children and failed miserable with her first.)

Ethical I don't know. But when I have tried several things with a mom and
her milk supply is still faltering I refer that mom to the one who has
succeeded. Is it more ethical to give a web site to a mom or to suggest she
must give formula, I don't know. I live in a rural area with only one
compounding pharmacy and who's prices are out of reach for most of my
patients.

Is a patient ordering from an internet pharmacy where a RX is required, and
receiving the RX from an internet doctor that the patient has never seen,
any less ethical then ordering a med where one country requires an RX and
another country does not? I don't know.

As with most ethical dilemmas I face daily I will continue to try and weigh
the good against the bad, what I can sleep with, and in the end what is best
for that mom and baby situation.
