Hi Netters,

Limited at sitting at the computer, but got alot of my lactnet done today.
Sorry, I am a little behind on responding. I have worked nursery in New
Jersey and California. I remember asking one of the L&D nurses "why are
you suctioning every baby? Is it really necessary?" Her response was that
the babies did better at feedings when you removed all of the mucous and
they retained the feedings better, also. Thought that was strange because
when I use to work L&D, I rarely used the delee suction on a baby and they
did just fine.
In response to fenugreek, the Rental Roundup, Winter 1998, Vol #15, number
1 did just come out with the article written by Kathleen Huggins:
Fenugreek: One Remedy for Low Milk Production." If you need help finding
it, let me know.

I also do know if you have a fresh pierced nipple, it should not be removed
for months. Do know of a gal that did BF and she just removed it each time
and did OK. On another note, I could not believe my eyes when I drove up
to Michigan to watch my daughter at one of her basketball games in collage,
few weeks ago. She opened her mouth and I about died. She had pierced her
tongue. I learned alot about piercing then. What gets into these kids? I
suppose if that is the worse thing she does, it is not all that bad.
Weird, yes.
