South Florida and the world breastfeeding community have lost a great
lactation champion.  Nada Beck,RN,IBCLC died today at the age 55 after
an extended battle with cancer.  She never published a book or went on
the lecture circut but certainly could have done both.  She knew what
was right for mothers and babies and always stood up for them. Many of
us here in South Florida were mentored by her and became better
lactation practitioners and mothers and people because of her.  She will
be missed greatly.
