Just wanted to let you know that I appreciated everyone who responded to my
plea for help.
In my original plea I mentioned that I was trying to find a Dr in the HMO my
client belongs to who would treat her properly.  The Dr in question happened
to be my former OB/Gyn and I was praying that he would be responsive to her
needs.  Well, he called me this afternoon, and when I asked him how he felt
about a 2-4wk long prescrip for Diflucan, he asked how it would be with BF.
I told him that it was fine and that I could bring him info to back it up.
He said that the lenth of treatment for systemic yeast sounded perfectly
reasonable to him, and that as long as it was OK with BF, he was more than
OK with prescribing it!  YEAH!!!!  Success!!!  We go to see him at 10:30
Tues morning (tomorrow) and I will bring in my references - and you know
what?  If he really likes my Hale - I may just give it to him!  Maybe I'll
bring him my last years version to keep...

I have been doing little dances of joy all afternoon!  You just don't know -
well maybe you do - how excited I am to finally know of a Dr in this
particular HMO who is OK with Diflucan, and who is interested in learning
more.
You know, I was just thinking - if it hadn't been for him telling me to find
an LC on Sept 9, 1994, I never would have ended up in this field...I'll have
to thank him for that in the morning!
