Even better than shredding  -- esp. for those of you who are AWHONN members
and IBCLCs -- write to the editor of the magazine and author of the article,
explaining WHY such articles do a disservice to the profession of nurses the
publication strives to assist.  Cite generously from the U. S. Surgeon
General's Call to Action to Support BF, in which all health care providers
and institutions are encouraged to provide meaningful, evidence-based
support to mothers who BF.  If nothing else, writing a respectful rebuttal
gets it out of your churning-and-tsking mind ... and may even be printed in
next month's issue.
