Hello.  My name if Mary Johnson.  I'm the Breastfeeding Coordinator for
the Minnesota WIC Program.  I'm thrilled that Lactnet was
established--what a great way to share information.

I am wondering if there are any states, provinces, or countries who are
collecting breastfeeding initiation data via the birth certificate, and
if so:
1.  What is the specific question (or questions) that is asked?
2.  When is the information collected?
3.  Are there instructions for collecting the data for an infant who is
not yet at the breas, but mother is pumping?
4.  How well does the system work?
