Hi all,
I can't believe this. I just went no mail due to a busy schedule and
impending vacation. Of course next day I need your help. I know this has
been discussed somewhat but would really appreciate some answers.
I had a mom call me tonight because she is to have some tests done on
Tues. and needs to know her options. She has a seven day old and has to
have the procedure done where they inject dye and look at your kidneys.
Sorry I'm really sleepy and can't think of all the words I'm looking
for:) The only thing she knows about the dye is that it is nonionic??
Just to give a little history... She has had kidney stones and the doc
thinks they might be passing or that she might have diverticulum??? She
also has a "sagging bladder". The doc wants to operate if they find that
a stone is causing a blockage and will fix the bladder thing at the same
time. She will ask her doc the name of the dye to be used and what
they'll use if surgery is necessary. Is there anything safe??? AS her
baby is only seven days old she doesn't have any milk pumped and doesn't
want to use formula at all. I need any info. as soon as possible as I'm
going on vacation Friday the 30th. Please e-mail me privately and post
to the list as well. Hopefully when I get back from vacation my thoughts
will flow better. Thank goodness for spell checker or you guys would
never be able to read this. Going to bed now. Hope to hear from some of
you tomorrow.
