I've never heard this acronym, and while I am sure the people who use it
are mindful of its possible effects, it's not something I would care to use
personally.

It's not accurate, really - rapid arm movement? Well, responsive arm
movement might be better.

I don't care for 'pull the baby to the breast' either. Nor am I a great fan
of 'whizz' the baby onto the breast, though this is used very sensitively
by Chloe Fisher in a well-known How To video, and it sounds fine!

How about 'bring'? or 'help' the baby to 'come' to the breast?

The more gentle, and accurate, we can be in our language, the better. But
we have to feel comfortable with it, too, and practise saying what we feel
is right so it comes naturally : ) And we have to imagine what the effect
of our language is on others, too.

For example, that same video (which I saw again at the weekend with a class
of trainee bfcs) has mothers being told their baby should have his lower
lip 'as far away from the base of the nipple as possible'. This is very
confusing to mothers who do not know the distinction (in bf-speak) between
nipple and areola. To be 'far away from the base of the nipple' means, to
them, far away from the bottom edge of the areola - that is, pretty close
to the base of the nipple : (
