 For additional insight into WHY breastfeeding is NOT being promoted, you
might want to listen to the tape of Anwar Fazal (WABA)speaking  at LLLI's
International Conf. , July 1995. It is called "The rebirth of breastfeeding
worldwide". He talks of the culture of greed as being one obstacle to
breastfeeding.
It's a wonderful talk and gets to the nitty gritty issues. Listen and learn.
