We do an annual health care careers fair for middle schoolers called "Blood
and Guts". (Don't shake your head, it's very popular!)

I had a great time taking ideas from Dia Michaels' Platypus Media site,
about various mammals and how they give birth and feed their young. Came up
with twenty different mammals, got pictures and put them on a poster with
Weird and Wonderful Facts. I have a twenty question "Which mammal is it?"
quiz that goes with it.

It kills me that the answer they have the hardest time with is - human
beings. (Maybe it's because my clue is "these babies often nurse two years
or longer "in the wild" but often must stop when their mothers return to
work")

If you want a copy of my quiz email me. I'm glad to share!

annual Harris Hill Ski Jump!
