Having been on a low-carb diet, my observation is that it can really dampen
your appetite to the point where you have to remind yourself to eat. I
think that for some moms, their calorie intake drops a lot more than they
think and that could affect milk production. It will be different for each
mom, so a blanket recommendation one way or the other is really not
warranted. Just something to be aware of.
