It all depends on how much of a battle you wish to take on. If there is going to be press coverage in the newspapers about the conference you may want to find out if there is a reporter covering the story and make sure that they find out about the "other side"

If you plan to picket a low key approach is probably best. IF you are at all clinically trained, wear a white coat or other hospital type garb to call attention to the fact that you are medical personnel. If you are personally a Christian make sure that you wear a cross for jewelry so that people know too that you believe in God too but that your theory of God's plan for feeding babies is not the same as theirs. Keep in mind that if you want to picket the meeting site, keep in mind that if the conference is at a church that is private property and they have the right to ask you to leave. IF the meeting is in a civic auditorium the outside of the building is public property. If there is a city ordinance it may require you to register to "protest" or assemble in public. That is suppose to be guaranteed to us by the constitution but the city can make you ask for permission first.

Of course one other thing you can to is to swallow hard and sign up and go to the conference and listen to all the tripe that they spill out. Then if there is the opportunity to ask questions be the first one in line and ask some very pointed questions to them about their medical background and so on. I suppose that they are very polished public speakers and have had to deal with hecklers before. It is probably a poor idea to think you can shout them down or disrupt the meeting, you would tend to loose a lot of creditability that way. Sometimes it is better to be "loud like a whisper".
