Just to expound a bit......

I suggest either fenugreek or goats rue depending on the moms particular
needs. (then the whole tincture or capsule thing...) Fenugreek is suggested
by me if moms are just needing to increase their supply a bit (or even a
lot) and appear to have sufficient mammary tissue within the breast. Goats
rue is suggested by me if moms have experienced little to no breast tissue
growth in pregnancy or post delivery.

I agree that when moms are hypothyroid, they get sent to the doc for
treatment. But what if the mom is "low normal" ??? (most docs don't treat
that) Would the fenugreek then lower her just enough to be more symptomatic
of hypothyroidism? Meaning... affecting her ability to produce
sufficiently? How many moms are running around "low normal" ??? I have
actually come across quite a few. (myself included) So, with these moms I
would lean more towards goats rue, now knowing that fenugreek MIGHT lower
their thyroid a bit, thus being ineffective in increasing their supply.
