Basically, homeopathic medicines are harmless, just as placebos are harmless - unless you believe they will harm you. No flame intended.

Subject: Calms Forte while breastfeeding?

I have a client asking me if Calms Forte (by Hylands) is safe while breastfeeding. I have searched high and low with no avail. The active ingredients are

Passiflora 1X | Triple Strength HPUS

Avena Sativa 1X | Double Strength HPUS

Humulus Lupulus 1X | Double Strength HPUS

Chamomilla 2X | HPUS

As far as I've seen, the last 3 ingredients are safe, but I've been seeing mixed reviews on passiflora (best I can find is that it causes uterine contractions).

If anyone else has any helpful info I'd appreciate it!! Thanks!
