Those who donate to Oxfam might like to give them a call....they have put out a press release saying that they are distributing milk powder in areas of China affected by the earthquake. Milk powder should never be distributed as a stand alone item in aid because if it is it will be used to feed babies endangering their lives. Info on what to say at www.ennonline.net/ife

Oxfam's health-related supplies include portable toilets, drinking water, medicine, intestinal drugs, first aid supplies, face masks, and sanitary supplies for women. Other Oxfam aid includes tents, blankets, clothing, milk, milk powder, cooking oil, rice, salt, Sichuan-style preserved vegetables, Chinese sausage and high-energy biscuits. Oxfam's priority is to assist women and children.
