All multiples can be exclusively breastfed and/or breastmilk fed initially
for varying lengths of time. How soon they out-run mother's capacity
depends on her and them, not on the number there are. Time and home help
are the big factors once they're home; other responsibilities, doctors'
attitudes, and ability to be with the babies are the big ones while in
hospital. She should be helped to try for as long as possibel: they are
already at risk of so much that breastfeeding helps protect against.
