Guidance for supporters and trainees
The Guidance Document sets out the way in which The Breastfeeding Network
interprets its ethical obligations. It gives practical guidelines for what
Supporters can do in their work. It also explains the principles underlying
these. It constrains and protects us, helping us to maintain our
independence, and protects the women we work with.

Just thought some on lactnet might be interested in how one of the four
mother support organisations does the above -- I know it will nt be
everyone's cup of tea -- it's not everyone in mother support in the UK's cup
of tea, which is why they belong to their organisations instead!!!  However,
it is an attempt to articulate our principles and then to apply them to the
concret nitty gritty of our working lives.
