If anyone has any ideas, I would welcome thoughts.
I am working with a mother of premie triplettes, she has been double
breastpumping religously for 4 weeks, 8 times a day for 10 minutes(she keeps
a diary and wakes up at night to pump)-- she has noticed a progressive
decrease in milk on one breast. One side she expresses 3 1/2 ounces, and the
other side 1/2 ounce. Both breasts appear the same, she started breastpumping
at about 12 hours post-partem. The babies are not at breast yet. We decided
to switch to the classic pump (?change in suction curve) and maybe try the
Avent Isis on the side that is producing less (?more areolar compression).
She has no chronic health history, she is motivated and educated, and is also
looking forward to anyones ideas from Lactnet.
Thanks
