My name is Amy DeNero,and I'm an RN,CLE based in a hospital. I work with a
pediatrician who insists on stopping breastfeeding when he has to readmit a
baby for phototherapy with a bili greater than 20. I am trying to gather
articles and info in print to convince him that the baby should not stop
breastfeeding. I'm not referring to breast milk jaundice here. These babies
are all less than a week of age. If you know of any printed material that
would help me, please e-mail me. Thanks.
