Rob mentioned the topic of rebirthing and how it might be used. A couple of
good sources of information on this comes from Heather Harris in an article
in one of my favorite journals, Breastfeeding Review. Called remedial
co-bathing it is in the November 1994 issue.

Heather lectured at the 1995 ILCA conference on this topic and her
presentation was videotaped. Her lecture was entitled Rebirthing- A Solution
for Breastfeeding Attachment Difficulties. She shows us Mandy and Matt in a
great video of Matt crawling to the breast and latching.

I have used this technique for years for those babies who leave the hospital
unable to latch to the breast or who cannot sustain sucking for very long. It
is also nice for very fussy babies and frustrated mothers!
