Subject: Visitors

In my talks to moms, families and hospital staff - I remind them that
ORIGINALLY ('way back when MY babies were born) We were in the hospital for
5 days - and by the third day were anxious to show off our baby, able to
"pee and poop" and in general healthy...

However, now we are in the hospital for less than 48 hours - sometimes less
than 24 - and we still try to fit in ALL the SAME NUMBER of visitors -
grandparents, siblings, sisters, brothers, close friends, etc.

I recommend they save these for later - and stick to the grandparents and
siblings of the baby - or ONLY those who will be HELPING (that way the
helpers can learn the same information - as I teach them ALL when they are
at the bedside).
