Interesing that this is coming up at the moment. I was giving out LLL
information at the local Babies R Us last Saturday and there was a Ross rep
there handing out little formula packs - kind of a makeup case size thing.
The moms had to register for a drawing for a large - fully equipped (with
formula) diaper bag. He was very assertive with his information on how
wonderful his brand is comparatively and how he believes in it so highly he
gave it to his own children. Very persuasive guy. I overheard him talking
to the store rep about handing out his samples with the registry materials
too. The display person beside me then launched into how wonderful formula
is even though her own 3 month old is on Nutramigen at $160 per month cost!
Infuriating.
