When my father was hospitalized in Maine, along one corridor there were 
enlarged nature photographs taken by the hospital staff. Underneath the 
photos were the names of the photographers. Dr. Blah Blah radiology, So and 
So RN med surg, Patty Happy admitting...etc. I loved the photos and I loved 
the feeling of the staff being humanized.I would walk up and down that 
corridor when I wasn't in my father's room and I felt a connection to the 
hospital and felt the relaxation of the nature scenes. I think that if I had a 
very sick baby, that I would rather stare at those scenes than anything else. 
Looking at somebody's healthy baby might  be too painful. But if I had a baby 
in the NICU for a less serious reason, then I would love to look at the pictures 
of the healthy babies and imagine myself with my healthy baby at home. So I 
guess I am saying that a pump room could have different walls done in 
different ways to present different views to suit the pumper.
