I have only had experience with one infant with this condition, and unfortunately, she ended up having te be fed syringe without suckling on anything. Due to the oral blisters, baby became very aversive to any suckling and neither the Haberman nor breastfeeding were possible. It is my understanding that each one may be a little different as to how much blistering they do. So, I am sure that in many infants breastfeeding it possible. Perhaps if she isn't allowed to breastfeed due to blisters, then cup feeding mom's EBM would be possible.
