This is one resource where you can post a question about the PPACA.

=============
I am in charge of a small store in my hospital that sells breast pumps, bras and some breastfeeding accessories. This is not a medical equiopment store (DME). I am wondering how does the affordable care act affect this store? I really do not know where to find the answers. My questions are:
Do we sell the pump at the normal selling price and then let the buyer handle their own insurance reimbursement? Currently we just sell pumps etc. We do not bill insurance.
Does anyone on this list have a similar store?
I could really use some help on this.
You may email off list if you wish. [log in to unmask]
