I too, have had the same trouble finding information on Zolft and St. John's
Wort.  I do know from a good friend and Lactation Specialist that went to a
conference last year that a dr. named Tieraona Low Dog, MD who is also an
herbalist, midwife, mother and family practice Physician has said that
St.John's Wort was perfectly safe while breastfeeding. I am currently takeing
this and have been for 6 months while nursing my then 2 year old son who is
still nursing. She also cited that so was Echinacea, but that Kava root was
not safe for baby.

She is going to be presenting "Herbs in Pregnancy and Lactation" at the 5th
Annual Breastfeeding & the High Risk Neonate conference, "Clefts, Clips, &
Cups"
Friday and Sat., March 26 & 27 at Sheraton Uptown Hotel; Albuquerque, New
Mexico.  "Herb in Pregnancy and Lactation" will be a Special Preconference
Workshop Thursday, March 25, 8:30 am-4:30pm, with a break for lunch on your
own, noon-1:30
