Pam was asking about tongue thrust after snipping of frenulum.

In the last 4 or 5 years we have snipped over 6000 here in Southampton
UK. These were in babies who were having feeding problems, both
breastfed babies and bottle fed.
We have never had a problem with tongue thrust following the procedure.
The babies went on to feed well.

Our RCT into the treatment of  tongue-tie in babies with feeding
problems will be published next year in Journal of Paed and Child
Health.
