Hi, Ya'll
I need help and I am hoping someone with more "Ceu Knowledge" can help.  In
Texas, The Board of Nurse Examiners will not grant ceu credit for education
you SHOULD
have received in nursing school.  We cannot seem to get our hospital
breastfeeding education approved for CEU's.  I have applied at least 5 times
through our hospital and been turned down.  I know this is not what is
offered in nursing school.    I now have the University of Georgetown's
"Catch the Spirit" Program that is written for 18 hours of education.  We
have our Certificate of Intent but it is very hard to send all of our staff
away for 18 hours of education or to get them to attend an 18 hour long
hospital program that will not give them any credit.

Everyone tells me it is all in the wording, well, it seems that I have worded
this program every way but loose.    Can anyone help me?  or Does anyone have
the address to the ANCC so that we can apply directly to them instead of the
Texas Nurse's Association
