Hi Linda- my favorite easy to read book is "So that's
what They're For!" by Janet Tomaro. Surely she must
read something?! I can't imagine life otherwise!

If she's a non reader who skims books, even the
dreadful "What to Expect the First Year" suggests
breastfeeding a premmie, although they do make some
incredibly stupid comments around 8 months, like
"Drowning in Milk? If your baby isn't eating enough
but only wants solids, you need to start cutting back
on breastfeeding."

If it's a motivation issue, would giving her a copy of
my "Advantages of Formula" page help? Maybe she'll
see herself there and be able to talk about her
disinterest in breastfeeding.

If I were on bedrest, I'd spend most of my time
reading. :-)

The public outpouring over the Columbine High School tragedy has been overwhelming. If you're looking for ways to help; information on blood donations, memorial services, candlelight vigils and more. http://sidewalkapps.com/rd.aspid=20417&x=denver.sidewalk.com
