Soy Formula is also associated with a significantly higher incidence of
Autoimmune Thyroid Disease in children.P. Fort et al Journal of the American
College of Nutrition Vol. 9 No 2. 164-167 .1990. They found that a child
with this condition was 2-3x more likely to have received soy formula than a
cow's milk formula.The prevalence and duration of breastfeeding among
patients with A.T.D.was no different to that seen in their siblings or in
