Hmm I wonder if anyone had a thought that maybe this mom could not
breastfeed? We are a society so quick to judge others. Perhaps this mom had
cancer and had no breasts. Maybe she wanted to breastfeed so bad that this
was the best she could come up with to feel close to her baby. We've all had
clients desperate to breastfeed but could not for a physical/psych-social
reasons. Then the little boy calls her stupid. Gee wonder where he learned
that. "shes just stupid for not
feeding bo!" (Bo was his word for nursing.) Watch what we say to our
children. This saddens me. I have lost many to cancer and most of it breast.
I guess I'm too sensitive to this..

Feeling yucky today,
robin
