<< they don't put coffee in babies bottles in the 'coffee' parts of the
world, do they...?)>>

I followed Edwina Froelich's advice on using coffee mugs, rather than sippy
cups, for my kids. Mugs are heavy, tend to not tip over, and a baby learns
to use both hands to pick up the cup to drink. Works well. Until you have a
baby who fights for the coffee. My wee boy could grab my coffee cup in an
instant, completely avoiding his water in his own cup... 12 years later, he
still begs for coffee. 1/2 caffiene, he doesn't get much, and prefers it
black (like his mom)

I was diagnosed w/endometriosis when I was 25. Had been fighting for a dx
since I was 16. Miserable pain. I eat a healthy diet, no dairy, and I'm
relatively slim, but I suffered for years. Once I got pregnant, and the
hormones changed, I went into remission, as long as I was pregnant or
breastfeeding. I was able to keep the endo at bay for a number of years,
until my last baby weaned (early, according to my sentiments!). Within a
year, the symptoms were back, and now I'm back to the full-blown pain in the
middle. Can't wait for menopause!

Hope your mom keeps on nursing for as long as she can. It helps, a lot. Many
of the endo cells shrink and die, and it takes a while for them to
proliferate again.

Best wishes,
Sam Doak
