In these trying times -- is Mom still trying to lose wt??? -- still using
metabolife or some other "natural" weight loss methods -- not eating --lets
not get on the subject of eating healthy
-- i have seen a small number of moms --- who are so wiped out by the illness
in the baby -- that there lack of self care -- eating more than just one
small meal a day -- has put a real damper on their milk supply

-- Now back on to "natural" weight loss products -- most contain plant
relatives to ephedra -- which in continuous daily doses (such as the
metabolife type products & there are 100's of them) dries up mucus membranes
as well as suppressing appetite -- and gives Mom a subtle energy boost --
this may be one direction to revisit.

-- one other thought -- long term pumping moms -- as their excess hormones
slow down after the first few weeks -- tend to suffer from the watched pot
never boils syndrome -- no real milk volume comes out -- they worry -- less
comes out

-- Show Mom manually that there is milk there -- with a full size pump -- and
distract her a bit so she can relax and presto -- double the volume at that
pumping.  It does not always work -- but more often than not it does.
