guess, i usually jump right into discussions like the one you mentioned. i
never get a bad reception (guess i can be nice). the times i get negative
responses are when the mother is doing something really awful and doesn't
care. like last week when i attempted to "be nice" to a woman slapping her
small baby in a rather extreme manner. for my grace i was called various names
that i am sure the list moms would say are too naughty for lactnet, but you
can imagine. i also felt like favoring some of those remarks to the two women
sitting in a car right next to this little incident who DID NOT do a thing but
pretend it was not happening. but how can things change if we don't speak up?
(although sometimes i am just off duty.)
