Debbie,
Do you mean resource books for staff or for families? There's a
lot of overlap though...
The Breastfeeding Answer Book
Hale: Medications in Mother's Milk, and
Clinical Therapy in Breastfeeding Patients
Bestfeeding
So *that's* what they're for!
Lawrence & Lawrence -- Breastfeeding: A Guide for the Medical Profession
Riordan & Auerbach
The Delivery Self-Attachment video is short & sweet and costs less than
many books do. Likewise there's a video put out by the Texas WIC called
Infant Feeding Cues or Infant Cues. Both these have no voiceover or people
lecturing the viewer from the screen -- just a little text accompaying
footage of babies/mothers. Great for anyone -- including those who have
difficulty with reading, don't know English, or are just plain sick of
being *told* stuff.
Have fun!
Elise
