I agree with Melissa, but Im not sure that we are seeing the whole story here.... ( I am referring to the Dateline show that
aired Mon nite about Emma Cuevas, the army pilot)
If the show is correct in stating that she was offered a desk job and 2.5 hours to go home for lunch , it sounds like they
were trying to accommodate her. I am happy that she stated she wanted to nurse the baby for 2 years :) I think that was a
very positive statement.
They did not mention any of the health benefits of bf, I think thats where we can help out by writing DateLine at
[log in to unmask] and give them a little education about the benefits of breastfeeding and info from the studies that show bf
moms miss less time from work and have healthier babies.
